Everything from our fragrances, vessels, wax selection, wicks, and accessories are thoughtfully handcrafted into a product that our customers will enjoy. We know there are a lot of options out there when you are shopping and we appreciate the opportunity to get to know you and your needs.
Many have asked us why we decided to start a candle business. We have purchased quite a few candles in all our years as regular consumers. We typically would grab them from the local grocery or retail store based on the label or a quick pop off of the lid, take a quick sniff and decide to put the candle into our basket. Those were really the major selling points for us at the time. We thought we could make a few candles for an upcoming baby shower and quickly realized through trial and error, that making candles is a lot more challenging than you might think! Since we both enjoy challenges, we were curious if we could improve upon our own candle shopping experience by creating something that we could make for ourselves and family. The result was our decision to create Luscious Lumens candles and the addition of other Luscious products.
With our faith and the grace of God, we believe the success of this business will enable us to give back to those in need. Tanda is an Educational Administrator and is excellent at the business end of creating our brand. She’s artistic and has a vision of the design of the candles and products. She works tirelessly to select what we feel would be a product worthy of putting our names on. Dan is an Engineer and has always loved photography. He handles the website development and product page images, so the combination of our talents complement each other perfectly.
